Aisha Al-Mannai: The real empowerment is in family cohesion

Dr. Aisha bint Yousif Al Mannai said that there are some misconceptions that must be corrected. Empowerment does not mean bullying or practice power upon the man or family because the essence of true empowerment lies in the cohesion of the family and in the preservation of its unity, especially in light of the great challenges that women face today.  She added that the educational role of parents with children is very important because it constitutes the awareness of a whole generation, and provides the practical model of role model on the other hand, and stressed that the conditions created by the siege contributed in highlighting the real importance of family cohesion by all members of the family, in this crisis despite the psychological and social damage it caused.

Dr. Al Nabulsi: Islam won to empower women

Dr. Mohammad Rateb Al Nabulsi pointed out that some may believe that Islam is against empowerment, but the fact that Islam is the first to call for the empowerment of women in accordance with the rules of legality, and keen to give them their full rights,  and he called for her participation in life to achieve the legitimate interest, considering that as a social necessity, and added that what we see today of wrong practices from some people, whether to leave children for nannies or rely on maids under the pretext of self-fulfillment and empowerment is the most harmful to empowerment itself. Hence, the importance of such interactive meeting contributes to present the correct scientific concept and help to correct its path because when women achieve the real empowerment, they do not achieve it only for themselves, but for the family and the country. Therefore the positive empowerment empowers the individual, the family and the society.
